June 20, 1984 - March 26, 2001
Stretch is a smooth black-n-tan mini Dachshund. Although his early years are shrouded in mystery, we do know Stretch came from a breeder in Sun Prairie, and had a prodigious pedigree. His favorite pastimes include: sitting in the sun, digging, chasing cats, sleeping, and eating. Stretch is mostly deaf, but has an excellent sense of smell. He has lots of talent, but what he excels in the most is his natural charm and loads of charisma. Stretch is also a founding member of the Park View Dachshund Association, which encourages people to check out their local library for a world of information. See Stretch's READ poster.
On March 26, 2001 this brave old dog gave his last breath. He had a good life. His courage, tenacity, and loyalty will be greatly missed by all of his friends. Farewell Sir Stretch, Knight of the Dinner Table.
