Brandy was discovered on the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue website while we in the market for a new member of the family. The arrival came 5 years to the day after Stretch passed on. Brandy originally came from a family in South Dakota who couldn't keep her. Brandy is a double dapple "tweeny" (15 lb) dachshund with one blue eye and one brown eye. She has slightly longer legs than a standard dachshund which enables her to leap 4 feet off the ground and take stairs with ease. Brandy is a very active dog who loves to run and play. She plays fetch, knows several verbal commands, and came crate trained. Brandy likes to play with cats but likes the ones that don't hiss at her the best. Isis is slowly getting used to having another pet in the house. Brandy is making a great addition to the family.
